ATTENTION
There will be a benefit on August 9th for 12 year old cancer patient Taylor Kiser. The benefit will be held at Boiling Springs Child Care located at 612 Vanney Circle Of course that is in Boiling Springs, SC. Hot dog plates will be sold and there will be a Silent Auction and a Bake sale. There will be fun and games for kids of all ages. HickryStix will perform from 12:00pm till 3:00pm. Your support is appreciated and you'll enjoy the entertainment.

What a great time we had playing at Wild Country. The facilities are extremely nice, but the crowd is what made the show. They were awesome. They listened, they danced, they screamed and hollered and really were an interactive audience. As most bands, we are fueled by crowd noise, and here there was no lack of that. Again, an awesome crowd that was very appreciative of what we do. We are so looking forward to next time.

HickryStix has performed 3 times since my last update. Rascals in Laurens, Under the Moon in Taylors, and a private party. All 3 were da bomb. The places were packed, the crowd and the band had a blast and if you missed it you missed a great show and a fun time. The quote of the night as usual “The best band that’s ever played here.” Have doubts? Come see for yourself.

Lucky's in Lauren's was rocking friday night. The band was on track and all sets were a success. EVerybody was friendly and there was quite a few folks there for the show. They'll be back on Saturday night so BE THERE! You won't be sorry.

First gig of the new year! WOOHOO! HickryStix had Under The Moon rocking both nights. The band had the good people of Taylors, and surrounding communities, rockin' into the night. There was even an encore Saturday night. That says nice jobs guys.

Man-O-man. 4 or 5 new songs added to the mix also. The band is always adding some of the latest hits to their performance.

Everybody had a blast...especially those kids(high school I think) who got teased from a couple of very blessed ladies. Well...we all got teased a bit dammit! :) Ya shoulda been there.

I have to admit it, the sound was very good Friday night at Lil DD's. The new songs were good and there was a pretty good crowd on hand most all night to enjoy them. Lot of folks dancing and singing along.

Friday night at Under the Moon was really fun. The crowd was dancing and singing along all night. All the girls looked great and Roy Orbison's ghost was kinda spooky.

Saturday night the place was packed. It was a nice turnout. Everybody was rockin'! Congrats to the winner of the costume contest as well. Man! All the folks really decked out for the Holloween party.

The band kicked once again. Nice job guys.

Next show is November 3rd at Friendz located on #9 in Inman, SC. It's a fun place so join us for a little fun. You deserve it. See you there.

HickryStix opened the show for Warner Brothers recording artist Ray Scott on October 12 at Southern Comfort. The show was spot on for Hickrystix
and Ray Scott is not only a great singer but a great song writer as well. We're sure to see a lot more of Ray in the future.

HickryStix also closed the show and closed in grand style proving once again that you can see top entertainment right here in Spartanburg.

Thanks Mark for bringing in new talent. Hopefully there will be more support in the future and Spartanburg can turn into a nice gig for for touring artists.
